Three years ago, Aunt Mid's, a Detroit based processor of fresh cut fruits and vegetables, launched a very successful line of All Natural-Gluten Free Salad Dressings and Vinaigrettes. Today, Aunt Mid's is pleased to announce that the Tropical Poppy flavor has won its first award - the 2009 Scovie Award. The Scovie Awards recognize products from around the globe and are one of the world's most competitive gourmet food competitions. Products go through rigorous blind taste tests by a panel of the country's top culinary experts. Over 800 products, representing 32 states and four countries, were among the competition this year.

Aunt Mid's Tropical Poppy Salad Dressing can be used on salads and sandwiches, and it makes a great basting or grilling sauce for chicken, vegetables, fish, beef and pork.
